The GHL Camp was a Huge Success
The first annual golf, hockey, and lacrosse camp (The GHL) hosted by Caradoc Sands Golf Club last week was a huge success.  All the participants had fun, developed new skills and made some new friends.

A big thanks to Pete Willems of Caradoc Sands who instructed the golf portion of the camp, Shawn Grogan & Tyler Kettler of CPH who instructed the hockey portion, Jamie Knight of Leave Your Mark Lacrosse who instructed the LAX and all the staff at Caradoc Sands who fed and transported the kids all week long. Can't wait till next year.

From an LAX perspective, Jamie did an excellent job with the 20 potential Screaming Eagles.  All the participants were engaged and had fun learning new skills for next years' inaugural LAX season.  We will be working with Jamie again and offering a fall and winter camp that will benefit new and seasoned players wanting to play for the Screaming Eagles next spring. Please stay tuned for more details.......

As the president of SMLA, I can  personally endorse any future camps with Jamie Knight and Leave Your Mark Lacrosse.  I had 2 children enrolled in the GHL camp.  Both kids absolutely loved it...... including the LAX portion.  My 12 year old has been playing competitive lacrosse in London and felt the insturctions and drills offered by Jamie were extremely beneficial.  He had a blast for an hour and a half.  I also had a 7 year old enrolled, who has never played lacrosse before. By the end of the camp he was able to catch, throw and cradle the ball in many different situations  -  important skills for any new LAX player.  He too had a blast for an hour and a half.

Please consider any future camps for your children as well.
