Welcome to the Strathroy Screaming Eagles
The Strathroy Screaming Eagles are a minor box lacrosse association scheduled to begin play in the Ontario Lacrosse Association during the spring and summer of 2019. Preparations for the upcoming season are already underway. SMLA will be comprised of at least 6 competitive teams - one team representing each age group. Those teams and ages as of 2019 are listed below;
Paper Weight: 2014/13
Tyke: 2012/11
Novice: 2010/09
Peewee: 2008/07
Bantam: 2006/05
Midget: 2004/03
SMLA will be looking for volunteers
and sponsors to help develop this great sport in the Strathroy community. There
is no experience required as players and volunteers will grow with the sport together. However, if kids are interested in playing in
2018, SMLA suggests they consider playing for the London Minor Lacrosse Association
(londonlacrosse.com) this year. There are currently multiple youth from
Strathroy playing in London. The more
kids playing, the more opportunities for car-pooling in and out of the city. LMLA is a great association and offers competitive
and house league opportunities. Please stay tuned
