LAX Coaching Clinic - Sept 30th at the Oneida Community Centre
Submitted By SMLA on Friday, August 10, 2018
SMLA is promoting an upcoming lacrosse coaching clinic.  This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in coaching for the Screaming Eagles in 2019 (No LAX experience required).  Each competitive team will require a head coach, and 1 or 2 assistant coaches. All 1st year coaching staff will need their Community Development Certification for box lacrosse if assisting in our inaugural season.

The Coaches Association of Ontario (CAO) is hosting a Lacrosse (Box) Community Coach Development Workshop, which upon completion, will provide the above certification for 2019.  The workshop is on Sunday, September 30th, 2018 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Oneida Community Centre, 2017 Ball Park Road, Southwold. Cost = $20.

This is a fabulous opportunity for interested coaches. The workshop is close to Strathroy and the cost is unbelievable due to the CAO's involvement and promotion of National Coaches Week in Ontario running September 22nd to the 30th. This workshop typically costs about $185. A huge savings for any new association.

If interested, please contact SMLA President, Jon Balzer for more info.  Registration and additional workshop news can be located at;
