House League Coaching Clinic - April 17
Submitted By SMLA on Monday, April 1, 2019
House League Coaching Clinic  -  Wednesday, April 17th, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

We are going to have multiple house league teams this year.  We will therefore,  also require coaching staff to manage the kids through games a practices.  No experience necessary.  This is a great opportunity for potential coaches to learn and grow with the sport while providing fun and exciting opportunities for local youth wanting to play lacrosse.

To coach House League lacrosse for SMLA, coaches only require a Criminal Record Check through the Vulnerable Sector Screening which you can obtain through your local police department.

The Clinic will be a practical, hands-on experience hosted by Dan Candy who has coached lacrosse for several years at different ages and levels.  He will review drills and skills appropriate for all age groups, and also review how to play the box lacrosse game.  The clinic is free to anyone interested in coaching their son or daughter this year.  It will take place on the blue pad at the Gemini Sportsplex.  Please register on-line through the same portal used to register your child or contact the SMLA Registrar, Carol Balzer directly.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in coaching lacrosse.
