Message From the President
Submitted By Jon Balzer on Sun 09 01, 19

Now that our inaugural lacrosse season has come to an end, I'd like to take a quick opportunity to sincerely thank our board members, coaches, trainers, managers, countless volunteers, sponsors, the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc and all our Zone 7 friends for all the hard work and commitment to this association. I truly recognize everyone’s commitment and the countless hours it takes to create and run an association like this. Everyone’s dedication and hard work did not go unnoticed. I continually receive positive feedback and comments about our association and our volunteers who helped make Strathroy Lacrosse a reality and a success in our first year.

We brought box lacrosse to the Strathroy-Caradoc area and introduced over 130 kids and their parents to this great Canadian sport.  I personally saw the smiles and enjoyment on many players and parents faces while they battled, ran, passed and shot their way up and down the floor. Our teams accomplished so much their first year and I personally can’t wait to watch them develop and improve in the years to come.

I totally expect our numbers to grow for the 2020 season and think we can anticipate more House League and Rep teams. That will mean we’ll need more volunteers and bench staff as well…… because without them, Strathroy Lacrosse won’t survive.

Please stay connected to our web-site and Facebook page for registration dates, camps, Try-Lacrosse, and much, much more Screaming Eagles news.

We did it..... let’s keep the momentum going for 2020!
