At Strathroy Lacrosse, we’re always looking for passionate individuals who want to make a difference in our athletes' lives. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, there’s a place for you on our team. As our programs grow, so does our need for dedicated volunteers. We can't do this without you!

Coaches: Lead and Inspire Our Athletes

No experience? No problem! We welcome coaches who are eager to learn, develop, and grow alongside our athletes. Coaching is at the heart of Strathroy Lacrosse, and our teams thrive because of the commitment of individuals like you. We provide the resources and support to help you succeed, including access to drills, skills training, and practice plans.

Requirements for Rep Lacrosse Coaches:

  1. Community Development Clinic – A one-day clinic offered by the Ontario Lacrosse Association.
  2. Competitive Introduction Clinic - A two-day certification required by Lacrosse Canada for coaches at the U15, U17 and U22 rep divisions. 
  3. Concussion Awareness Module – An online training to ensure the safety of our players.
  4. Vulnerable Sector Police Check – To maintain a safe environment for all participants.

Trainers: Keep Our Teams Safe and Ready to Play

Our Trainers play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our players during practices and games. If you have a background in health and safety or hold a professional designation, we’d love to have you on board.

Requirements for Trainers:

  1. Certification in First Aid/CPR or a professional designation (Nurse, Doctor, Paramedic, Firefighter, Police Officer, or certified Hockey Trainer).
  2. Police Check – For the safety of our young athletes.

Managers: The Team's Organizational MVP

Our Team Managers are the backbone of smooth operations, allowing coaches to focus on the game. Managers handle essential tasks like:

  • Communicating practice and game schedules to parents.
  • Managing attendance and any last-minute scheduling changes.
  • Assisting with tournament coordination.

Jersey Parent: Help Keep Our Team Looking Sharp
