Thank You for a Great 2022 Season
Hi Everyone, we just wanted to take a moment and say Thank You to all the parents and players who participated in our very successful 2022 lacrosse season.  We started this program back in 2018 with our first season taking place in 2019.  The next 2 seasons were cancelled across the province due to COVID-19.

It’s therefore, been challenging to bring lacrosse to the Strathroy-Caradoc area, but from what I’ve seen this year, we are getting closer to establishing a credible and competitive minor lacrosse association.

There’s still a lot of work to do to make our 2023 season even better.  Along with our House League teams we are hoping to floor REP teams at the U9, U11, U13, and U15 divisions. To make this happen we will need more volunteers for our bench staff and our Executive.  SMLA will be hosting an annual AGM in the fall to fill the following positions:

Vice-President (House League Director)
Registrar
Scheduling Director
Marketing & Sponsorship Director
Time Keeping/Game Sheet Director

Each volunteer position will also receive a discount on their player registrations.  Details will be posted on our social media and web site closer to the date.  Please follow us for potential camps this fall and winter hosted by a local Toronto Rock.  2023 registration will open January 1st, with graduated pricing options, so please spread the word to family and friends for next year.

We met some great people and players this year and we enjoyed watching the kids grow and develop as the season progressed.  Lacrosse is an amazing sport and great alternative to soccer and baseball. Please enjoy your summer and thank you for your support and participation in the 2022 season.  We look forward to seeing everyone back in 2023. Let’s go Screaming Eagles!

President, SMLA
