Coaches:
Strathroy Lacrosse is always looking for dedicated individuals willing to coach or assist with our Rep teams.  No experience is required as we are looking for coaches to develop and grow with the sport and our athletes. As our programs and teams expand so will our need for volunteer coaches. Coaching is the most integral part of Strathroy Lacrosse and without valued coaching staff, Strathroy Lacrosse will not survive. Coaching Requirements for Rep Lacrosse:
1) One day Community Development clinic offered by the Ontario Lacrosse Association paid for by SMLA,
2) Online concussion awareness module
3) Police check.

Trainers:
1) Certification in First Aid/CPR, professional designation as a Nurse, Doctor, Paramedic, Firefighter, Police Officer or certified Hockey Trainer..

Managers:
This important role ensures the smooth operation of the Rep & House League teams.  Managers allow the coaches to concentrate on lacrosse activities and games. The role includes:
-relaying floor times to parents, scheduling changes & helping to manage attendance etc..
-assisting with tournament(s)


The Jersey Parent:
Each team will assign a parent to clean, house and transport the team jerseys to and from the games.

Police Checks:
Police Record Checks are mandatory for coaches, trainers and volunteers. Please contact the executive for a letter to bring to your local police service if required.
