Winter 2019 Lacrosse Camp
After the success of our first camp in the fall, SMLA is proud to offer another lacrosse camp to any youth interested in trying LAX or looking to improve their current skills. This will be a fantastic camp hosted by Leave Your Mark Lacrosse in the large double gym located at our local secondary school in Strathroy. We will be offering instruction based on age and skill level. All participants will be divided accordingly. Not only will this camp be an amazing opportunity for your child, it will also assist SMLA staff in determining lacrosse interest and preparation for our inaugural 2019 season.
Date & Time:
Mondays - 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Feb 4, 11, 25 - Mar 4, 18, 25 - Apr 1
(excludes Family Day & March Break)
Who Can Participate:
Boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 14
(Paperweight to Bantam)
Structure:
The gym is quite large and can accommodate multiple participants separated into different groups based on skill and age.
Group 1: Instructional for beginners - (helmets and gloves are required) - sticks are provided
Group 2: Experienced - (full LAX gear) - light to moderate contact drills
Cost:
$100 per participant
Goalies:
Experienced and new goalies can attend at no cost, however, they still must register below. SMLA has acquired some goalie equipment which can be provided to participants interested in trying LAX as a goalie.
