Coaching Requirements for all Rep Lacrosse Coaches:
1) One day Community Development clinic offered by the Ontario Lacrosse Association paid for by SMLA,
2) Online concussion awareness module
3) Police check.
Head Coach Application:
Please submit the attached Head Coach Application to the SMLA President and SMLA Vice President by December 1st. All applications will be accepted from Nov 1st to December 1st of each calendar year. After Dec 1st, SMLA will review each application and select one Head Coach for each team. Once selected; the Head Coach will be notified of all other applicants and any other interested Assistant Coaches. The Head Coach has the sole responsibility of choosing all the Assistant Coaches, Trainers and Manager pending SMLA approval.
